Event-2: 43rd National Throw Ball Championship 2023
Yashwanth and Kanmani BCom Students represented the Karnataka team in 43rd Senior National ThrowBall Championship 2023 held at Vivek College, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.
The event had a grand start with spectacular performances of Ganesh Vandana, Nau Devi, Shiv Tandav, Garba etc. programs including Shana Patel, Vanshika, Shrivangi, Priya Himani. , Nidhi Sneha, Kartik Chanpreet Sanskar, Palak Tanu Shivani, Anamika Anupriya Devika Jasmeet Karishma, Niyati, Khushi, Isha, Tushar, Shruti, Spartha Manvi etc. captivated everyone by presenting a glimpse of Indian culture.
On the first day, the first match in the men’s category was between Delhi and Karnataka in which Karnataka defeated Delhi 2-0. On the second day in the men’s category, Karnataka, Delhi, Tamil Nadu established their dominance.On the second day, in the first match in the men’s category, Tamil Nadu started its victory by defeating Haryana, Pondicherry, Kerala 2-0, Karnataka defeated Delhi, Kerala, Pondicherry 2-0, Delhi defeated Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Haryana. Gujarat defeated Chhattisgarh 2-0 and Kerala defeated Haryana 2-0. Andhra Pradesh defeated Uttar Pradesh 2–0 to strengthen their position in the competition.
In the finals Karnataka team won the tournament. Karnataka stood first by winning the final match against Tamil Nadu by 2-1. In the men’s category, Karnataka stood first, Tamil Nadu stood second and Andhra Pradesh and Delhi jointly stood third. The Grand finale was inaugurated jointly by Asian Throw Ball Federation Secretary T Ramanna, Uttar Pradesh Throw Ball Federation Secretary Pappal Goswami, College Chairman Amit Goyal, Vice President Seema Goyal.College Chairman Amit Goyal and Vice President Seema Goyal honored the winners by giving them prizes and certificates.
